Just when you thought that it couldn’t get any better…

All Servers

  • New vehicle spawn system.  Each vehicle trader and VG location now has markers where the vehicle will spawn.  There are land, air, and sea variants.  If only the land marker is present, then all vehicles will spawn there.  This system should eliminate the issue of vehicles spawning into buildings. These areas MUST be clear of vehicles before purchasing or pulling a vehicle from VG.  I’ve taken a few precautions to prevent collisions but why take the risk?
  • Made individual VG available for boats at boat traders.  Boats can now be stored at any VG location.
  • We’re now using a new player marker script.  Names look better, indicate clan or group membership, and will turn off when entering a PVP zone.
  • Added all BSF base parts to the loot tables.  They can be found in factories and industrial areas.  They will be somewhat rare.
  • All BSF base parts and tents can now be recycled into their crafting components.  This makes finding the parts as loot very valuable.  Any items that are not consumed during crafting will not be recovered by recycling. This is done via recipes attached to the items.
  • Some BSF base parts can now only be crafted by BSF supporters. Notably the GreenWall and CastleWall parts.
  • Added level 11 bases for donors.
  • Reduced inactive vehicle delete time to 14 days.
  • Beef Parts added to loot tables.
  • Fixed lack of food spawning.
  • Added the RHICC (Rigid Hull Inflatable Commando Craft)
  • Added the RHS BMK Tug (boat)
  • New craft-able yard signs for territories
  • Changed the territory due date on the XM8 to reflect BSF Donor status – Go Team!
  • New ATM to supplement The Exile Lockers.  Look for a parking meter conspicuously close to a trader NPC at boat traders.
  • Added a couple of new base flags.
  • Corrected some poor grammar on a couple of signs and dialogs.
  • Fixed the BSF 1/2 Floor snapping issue.
  • Fixed Custom Skins not applying to SDV’s.
  • Added ladders to various boat trader locations.
  • Added some vehicle variants to the traders.
  • Updated our donor perks system on the back end to be more automated.  Donors should no longer need to inform Admin when placing a flag to have protection payments suspended.
  • I’m not sure if this was mentioned in a previous update, but the BSF Solar Backpacking tents can be set up and used for storage.

Altis Server

  • Added Boat Trader at Kavala Pier, Krya Nera, Ghost Hotel, and on the southeast coast.
  • Reduced inactive vehicle delete time to 14 days for vehicles not inside a VG.

Malden

  • Added Aircraft traders to S. Harbor Trader City
  • Added boat traders at Faro & Goisse Harbor

Tanoa

  • Added boat traders on a new pier at the Airport Trader
  • Fixed some issues with boats trader NPC’s and object placement.

Esseker

  • Minor map improvements – clearing brush, adjusting wrecks, etc.
  • Added VG at Waste Dump Traders
  • Lower Esseker VG now has a water spawn.
  • Fixed EVR resistance not increasing with exposure.
  • Added grass cutters to the Hardware Trader… pricey.
  • Confirmed that 10Rnd_50BW_Mag_F for the Type 115 rifle is indeed in the loot tables.

Lythium

  • Added all trees as wood sources.

Reborn Servers

  • Updated the claim vehicles script.  NO MORE DUPES!
  • Updated the “Study and hide corpse” dialog to be more enlightening… in more ways than one.
  • Updated the Scan Tower XM8 App.  Better messages.
  • Both the “Study corpse” and Scan Tower functions will now reveal locations of loot crate spawns as well as the crash sites.  There will be many more event sites available now.
  • Added many missing buildings to the loot spawn tables.

BSF Base Parts

  • Fixed BSF basic roof so that the preview location matches the placed item.
  • Hotfix – Centered window units now showing.

Sept. 20 2021

All Servers

  • Added a new vehicle title system for AI vehicles.  Persistent AI vehicles now spawn with a Pinkslip in the inventory.  Non-persistent vehicles will have a green Salvaged Title document.  If a vehicle has either of these docs in it then it is safe to assume that the vehicle is up for grabs.  If a vehicle doesn’t have one, then it probably belongs to a player.  When you acquire a vehicle with one of these docs, ditch the doc so that nobody thinks that it’s available.
  • When a player sells a vehicle that belongs to someone else, the server will broadcast a message to that effect and log it.
  • Fixed that pesky database issue on Altis that prevented new flags from being planted.
  • Added new land clearing objects. These will not be craftable but may be purchased.  Once placed, all trees and large bushed in their radius will not spawn after the next restart.
  • Added floor snap points for all BSF Armor Lockers for those of us with an alignment fetish.

  • Deployed the “Flag Test” XM8 app to servers that didn’t have it. This replaces the non-functioning “Build Here” app to determine if a location will accept a base flag.
  • The Virtual Garage button on the XM8 front page will now bring up VG
  • The XM8 Unit Scanner can now be bound to a custom shortcut key. See below.
  • BSF actions that were key-bound by us are now configurable.  They must be assigned to a custom user action key and then you can use whatever you like.  Those actions are currently:

    • Open Unit Scanner
    • Fishing
  • Added very obvious “Server Rules” buttons on the Waste Dump dialog and Inventory overlay. There are fewer and fewer excuses for ignorance.
  • Added recipe to craft “Bag of Sand” from burlap sacks with a shovel at the beach. Oh, what fun you’ll have.
  • Fixed the price display on the Black Market Trader.
  • Fixed some bad file paths that prevented a couple of donor flags from spawning…
  • Re-wrote the shipwrecks code to provide a wider array of loot and base the quantity of loot on the crate depth.  Randomized the type of wreck. There is a small chance of a crate having a lot of tabs.
  • Randomized the number of para-dropped reinforcements (2-6, weighted at 3-4).
  • Re-wrote the Base Marker XM8 app to show a better icon, territory radius, and made a better UI.

Lythium Server

  • Added “Deploy Kayak”
  • Spread town invasions out more
  • Moved Razbula Vehicle trader to a more open space

Reborn Servers

  • Added a bridge between Lower Esseker and the airfield. 
  • EVR resistance is now permanent on Reborn servers and will not reset on death.
  • Improved variety of loot that can be scrounged in garbage piles.
  • Added functioning trains to Esseker and Chernarus.
  • Unclaimed vehicled can no longer be stored in Virtual Garage
  • Black Market Trader inventories will now auto-populate at restart. Player-listed items will act as usual.
  • Re-wrote the persistent vehicle spawn script.  Now a more random selection of vehicles will spawn and spawns should not occur at or beyond map edges.
  • Unclaimed wild-spawn vehicles will now de-spawn from the server after 5 days to make room for replacements.

BSF Base Parts

  • Added several new styles to the BSF IronWall collection including GreenWall, CastleWall, StoneWall, WoodWall, and Copper Roofs

  • Retextured ALL BSF IronWall components for consistency and improved lighting response.
  • Revised snap points on many models to achieve better alignment.

  • Tweaked the VG interface to hide PIN codes due to the possibility of an exploit.

  • Added M1240 and M1245 to trader (RHS MRAP). These are the RHS versions of the Arma/Exile Hunter.
  • Added some new variants to some of the other RHS MRAP.
  • Released for purchase the woodland versions of many RHS vehicles.

BSF Community Addon

  • Fixed some geometry that was allowing player clipping

GENERAL

  • Fixed players not able to buy non-donor vehicle skins
  • Fixed Gorgon custom skins to include proper accessory textures on cages and rails
  • Removed faulty Gorgon type from trader.  Any vehicles of this type owned by players should have been swapped with the working version
  • Removed RHS weapons that caused dupe issues. 
  • Switched Virtual Garage to the non-Exile version which shows more vehicle info while in the interface.  It is now located on XM8 Apps page 1
  • Added (or fixed) the ability to eject from any air vehicle without an equipped parachute.  Your backpack will be unaffected.  You can also re-enter freefall by hitting ALT+SHIFT+X if you are more than 50M off of the deck. This shortcut also works for HALO spawns.
  • Added a “Spawn Kayak” app in the XM8 which does just that.  And no, you can’t load crates onto it… sorry (sort of). 
  • Removed the Sloth Machine and BOOM! Apps to make room.
  • New custom map-specific background images for spawn menus
  • Cleaned up JSRS mod inclusion.  Players can now use JSRS SOUNDMOD and JSRS SOUNDMOD – RHS AiO Mod Pack Sound Support.  The website and download presets have been changed to reflect this
  • Updated Server Info in-game to reflect some of these, and previous, changes. Some inclusions include the previous additions of fishing and the ability to drive trains.
  • Speaking of trains… did you know that you can actually drive our trains on Tanoa?
  • Fixed fishing script.  Get yourself a BSF Fishing Net, grab a boat, head out to see, and press you INSERT key. Don’t get too excited.  It’s cute but not exactly engaging.
  • Implemented a new loot spawning script to replace Exile’s.  This system is .dll based and promises to require fewer server resources while doing the same job.  Let’s hope it does just that.
  • Added new additional zombie code that should spice things up a bit.

TRADER

  • Added the ability to save and buy named loadouts at the Equipment Trader.  Instead of selecting ‘Trade’ choose ‘Access Loadout Trader’. Most items in your inventory will be included in the save.  Some equipment has been blacklisted and will not be saved to loadouts.
  • Trader interface now shows items in red if they cannot be purchased
  • Added new RHS vehicles and weapons including more Styrkers, a couple of planes, and M14 rifles. to traders.
  • Fixed UGL smoke and flare shells unsaleable. You’re welcome Ragepriest

SOLO VIRTUAL GARAGE

There is a new Virtual Garage script that allows players to buy a separate VG to store a single vehicle.  This VG can be purchased by anyone regardless of whether they currently own a territory.  The VG will maintain whatever storage and custom skin the vehicle currently has.  This should go a long way in reducing vehicle congestion on maps where players with no territories have to leave their vehicle parked somewhere. Vehicles stored in these VGs ARE NOT protected from the auto-delete function if a vehicle isn’t moved for X number of days. As of now, there will be no rule requiring the use of these VGs but there may be in the future if deemed necessary.  Vehicles can be stored and retrieved at any Vehicle or Aircraft Trader. They can be retrieved from different locations than they were stored at.   In addition, every gas station now has a “Vehicle Storage” sign that functions the same as the trader for storing a vehicle. Ther are also new VG icons on the maps showing any non-standard locations. Only one of these VG’s can be purchased by anyone player.

ALTIS

  • Added a new trader location on the eastern peninsula.
  • Added a bridge between the peninsulas.
  • Let’s get that part of the map populated!

ESSEKER & CHERNARUS

  • Removed all wrecks from roads
  • Removed trees and bushes that were growing on roads or preventing access to some buildings
  • Deleted some rogue buildings that were placed by accident
